Since 2022, ISS has partnered with apetito, one of the UK's leaders in patient catering.
Sharing our high standards of quality, responsibility, dedication and ethics, apetito is focused on reducing food waste, sourcing ethically and lowering carbon emissions as part of its industry-leading Net Zero commitment; providing food that meets our patients’ standards of quality and sustainability values.
We work in close partnership with apetito to ensure the highest quality, governance and service — from loading bay to bedside, and every stage in between.
Over the next five years, both partners will continue to build a product range to meet the evolving needs of NHS patients, developing systems and processes that reduce waste, labour and cost while drawing daily on our shared industry experience.
At ISS, we understand the important role that proper hydration and nutrition have in enabling and speeding patient recovery.
That’s why we take pride in supporting clinical staff to deliver tens of thousands of meals to patients at NHS Trusts nationwide. We proudly partnered with our clients at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire to showcase how our patient catering services are helping to keep the NHS running efficiently, supporting patient wellbeing and enabling clinical staff to focus on providing urgent and critical care.
